This policy explains what personal information Filippo Busa Biomechanics collects, why, and what happens to it. Filippo Busa Biomechanics is the business of Filippo Tommaso Busa, a Functional Patterns practitioner based in Werribee, Victoria.

What is collected

When you book. Bookings are made through Halaxy, an online booking and practice management service. To book a discovery call or a consultation you give Halaxy your name, contact details and appointment details, and, for a paid appointment, your payment details. Payment is processed by Halaxy and its payment providers. Card details are not seen or stored by Filippo Busa Biomechanics.

When you get in touch. If you send an email, your name, email address and whatever you choose to write are received.

When you train. To train you safely and effectively, information about your physical history, injuries, pain, movement and goals is recorded. This can include photos or video of your posture and movement, taken to assess you and to track your progress. This is health information and is treated as sensitive.

When you visit this website. This website has no contact forms, no accounts and no advertising trackers. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from and what kind of device they use. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites and does not identify you. Like every website, it is delivered by a hosting provider (Cloudflare) that briefly processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to send you the pages and keep the site secure. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting them from Google.

How it is used

Your information is used to arrange and provide your sessions, to plan and adapt your training, to contact you about your appointments, to take payment, and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations. It is not sold, and it is not used for marketing by anyone else.

Photos, results and testimonials

Photos, videos, results or comments are only ever published, on this website or on social media, with your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by getting in touch, and the material will be taken down.

Who it is shared with

Your information is held in Halaxy and in secure business records. It is shared only where needed to provide the service (for example with Halaxy and its payment providers), where you ask for it to be shared (for example with another practitioner you are working with), or where the law requires it. Some of these service providers may store information outside Australia.

Keeping it secure

Reasonable steps are taken to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including password-protected systems and limiting access to the person who trains you. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or de-identified.

Seeing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information held about you, or ask for it to be corrected, at any time. Email the address below and you will receive a reply within 30 days.
